  • Instituted new estimating and job costing systems.
  • Establishing new customers inside and outside of existing market niche.
  • Developed new suppliers broaden sourcing to include direct negotiations with steel mills.

    • Electronic design system to automatically calculate and blank out pieces for custom sized orders
    • Inventory systems involving optimum quantities of stock, material sizes, and economic order points

Michigan National Bank, Credit Analyst
Joined the bank as a credit analyst in the Commercial Loans Division. Promoted to Senior Credit Analyst, Assistant Credit Manager, Credit Manager and Head of Commercial Loan Operations with responsibility for fifty employees.
    Duties included:
  • Supervising credit training of new staff
  • Converting manual accounting system ($350,000,000 portfolio) to a computerized system
  • Revamping training and operating procedures for the division and formally documenting all new processes
